Mashing is the process of combining the milled grain and hot water, heating this mixture to different
temperatures to achieve step mashing in a vessel called a "mash tun".
We get mash after step mashing. The mash will be pumped to lauter tank to process mash lautering
until the wort is clear.
To save lautering time, there will have buffer tank between lauter tun and kettle tank.
The clear wort will be transferred from buffer tank to Kettle tun for wort boiling and hop adding.
After 1-1.5 hour wort boiling, the wort will be pumped to Whirlpool tank for whirlpooling,
forcing the denser solids (coagulated proteins, vegetable matter from hops) into a cone
in the center of the Whirlpool tank. After Whirlpooling, wort will be cooled immediately
by heat exchanger and go to fermenter for fermentation.
