Do I need insulation for my brewhouse tanks and fermentation tanks ?

In bigger brewery system, insulation is suggested for brewhouse tanks and fermenation tanks.

Insulation can help save much heat loss for bigger brewery system.

The cone design is necessary if we want to insulate our brewing tanks, see below photo.

But for brewery system below 1000L, they are small and nano brewpub beer equipment.

The heat loss is very little and can be ignored, so Brewman normally choose dish top dome without insulation.

Dish top dome is stainless steel cover with thickness 3mm. No insulation on it. See below photos.
