What Type of Glycol Water Solenoid Valves Should I Choose For Jacketed Fermenter?

What is glycol solenoid valves? Glycol solenoid valve is used for control glycol in tank or not.

Normally we will set a fermentation temp on controller, once the temp is higher than set temp, 

the brewery controller send signal to glycol solenoid valve to open and let glycol in.

Once the temp is reaching the set temp, the glycol solenoid valve will close to stop glycol in for cooling.

But what type glycol valves should I choose?

For glycol valves, we have DC24V, AC24V, AC220V, AC120V , DC12V, AC12V.

If you prefer to buy glycol solenoid valve and brewery controller from us, 

the standard type is DC24V for glycol solenoid valves.

Some USA customer might like AC220V or AC120V, as it is earier for them to find.

Q:If I have a brewery controller in the brewery system, but we prepare the glycol chilling unit locally. 

Do I need to prepare the glycol solenoid myself?

A: The glycol solenoid valves are included in the glycol cooling unit, 

so the glycol solenoid valve is not included in the quotation. 

We can equip them for you for Europe customers if it is not easy for you to buy one locally. 

But for USA customers, we need to note that, 

normally 1 phase 220V or 110V is popular for USA water solenoid valve, instead of DC 24V. 

Our solenoid valves is ISO standard, while NPT connection PPR is suitable for USA customers. 

So we suggest USA customers prepare solenoid valve locally to fit better with glycol valves.

so brewman need to customize the control for glycol solenoid valves.
